Many real estate photographers do what is called an HDR merge. That takes an average of multiple images and blends them together. This often causes issues with unwanted color where it shouldn’t be referred to as color casts. These colors can be from things like harsh sunlight on the floor, often blue, to warm lamplight on the ceilings often yellowish.
We use advanced editing techniques to make sure that the photos we take are clean and sharp. Otherwise the photos wouldn’t be Beautiful-Shots.
Exterior photos get the sky replaced. Never worry about weather when booking your appointment. As long as it isn’t raining or snowing we shoot.
How Embarrassing is it when a camera or photographer is visible in a mirror. Our Editors will remove any camera or person from reflective surfaces.
Go beyond the mentality of listing photos being a necessary expense to sell a home. We would like to shift that idea into not looking at the photos just to list a home, but as your own personal stock photo content for marketing. Show that you will use professional media to help a seller get top dollar for their home.
When you list the home with your photos, the MLS will remove any trace of that listing once the home is sold. If you were to hire us, you can reuse your photos online to attract more leads to your business. We only ask that you not transfer the photos to a third party.
Some examples of areas you can use our photos are your personal website, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Youtube to just name a few.
Each of these can host your listing content indefinitely and refer to you as the listing agent. Generating more leads for you, its double dipping marketing content.
HDR stands for High Dynamic Range. It is a process which involves taking numerous photographs at varying brightness levels. These photos are then merged together in specialized photography software. This range of photos allows us to have the ‘details’ in areas which would either be too bright or too dark.
HDR is closest to what our eyes naturally see, as our eyes have a large amount of dynamic range. if you want to test this look at a room with a lot of natural light. the room should be bright but you should also be able to see detail outside of the window.
There is 2 other primary ways to do real estate photography. Ambient only photography and Flash photography.
Ambient only photography lacks range so when making the room bright in editing you lose a lot of detail in super bright areas like outside windows.
This is the same photo, edited. Notice how the sliding door changes between the photos
Flash photography, when done poorly, can cause inconsistent brightness throughout the image and dark rooms in the background. It also can cause shadows which make the image seem ‘flashy’ This is the same image edited. Notice how the hallway and ceilings change in brightness.
